Because of this, many brands released their own pastel-color line. Recently, Stabilo released its Stabilo Pastel-Colored Highlighters. Many pastel colors enthusiasts rushed to bookstores and grabbed the chance to own these promising highlighters. These highlighters sold quickly, and became out of stock for a long time.
Pilot followed the trend and released thier Frixion Pastel Higlighters. It combined the pastel trend and its well-known frixion feature, allowing users to erase their highlight.

If you are planning to buy these highlighters but lacks budget to buy both, here are some pros and cons of the products to help you decide what to get.
Stabilo has vibrant colors than those of Pilot. The shades are eye-catching, and they complement each other. However, because it is too vibrant, Milky Yellow looks like a neon color than a pastel one. What I don't like about Stabilo is it's overflowing ink. Well, it is not really a bad thing, but if you are using a thin or average sheet of paper, it will scatter not only at the end of the highlighted word but also at the back of the paper. Another con of this product is that it is always out of stock.
On the other hand, Pilot has more subtle colors. Because the color is too light, it looks a bit boring. It is perferct if you don't like messy highlights, since the ink is just right, unlike that of Stabilo. It is easier to handle, and the best thing is that it is erasable. It is also hard to complete the colors, but it replenishes it stocks faster.

Pilot: 36.25 php
Final Verdict
Both brands have their own pros and cons. I like Stabilo better when it comes to color, because the colors are so cute and vibrant. When it comes to packaging, I will go for Pilot since the ink is just right, it is easy to handle, and it is erasable.
These are my thoughts about Stabilo and Pilot Pastel Highlighters, how about yours?
